The Final Count

Canada had a great showing in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Our mantra was "own the podium." While we didn't finish at the top of the total medal standings we did own the podium when it comes to GOLD medals. As I have said before, GOLD is the only thing that matters. Funny enough, the IOC agrees as they rank the countries based on GOLD medals as well.
