For the longest time I wanted a blackberry. Even before I installed the MS Exchange Server 2007 and Blackberry Enterprise server here at work. Once I had this stuff I felt like it was absolutely necessary to have one for various technical reasons as well as personal.
Oh, did I tell you I won an itouch? Yep, and it's the new sleeker version too. It's only 8GB, but it was free so I'm not complaining. All I did was fill out a customer service survey online for our ISP and my name was randomly drawn. That's like flopping a royal if you ask me... except my sales lady I was talking to about it managed to put in a good word for me to her marketing manager and I somehow was "picked randomly." It helps to know the right people.
Anyway the itouch is awesome. Within minutes I had my yahoo account and my work MS Exchange account loaded up. I have access to all of my contacts and calendars. No more emailing myself at home to remind myself to do something, I just slap it into my calender here at work and boom, its loaded. I can't tell you how many times I've had to send myself emails to and from myself just to keep up. Or access my work accounts from home through rdc or vnc and get what I want. My life just became a whole lot simpler and more organized.
Of course there is a catch. I don't have real time access unless I am hooked up to a wireless connection. But really, who doesn't have wireless these days? The only time I'll be without real time access is when I am driving. So instead, I'll just use it as my music player. I've already loaded about 6GB of music and left a bit of space for a video or two. If and when I get into the podcast stuff I'll have to manage my space accordingly. I've already been surfing the net, adding a free app here or there. I want to figure out which ones are the best so if you (yes YOU the reader) have any suggestions then let me know.
The best news is now I don't have to get a blackberry and pay those ridiculous data fees. Everything is free and while I am at work and roaming the building putting out fires, I can see with the touch of a screen what my next fire will be without ever having to get back to my desk. I am free to roam the building and concentrate on those relationships that matter most!
itouch is my new best friend.

I finished 7th in the Brit game yesterday. NewinNov called my shove over the short stack shove for about 1/3 of his stack with AKo and my tens couldn't hold. But hey, at least I didn't get disconnected! There is hope yet, and maybe I'll even end my boycott if things keep improving.

Golf - nothing to report except - I think I'm going with the re-grip and then buying all new wedges. 52, 56, 60 degree Cleavland's to be exact, probably gun metal again. I think having good sharpe groved wedges is the key to scoring even lower. Of course once you stiff it, you still have to make the putt but the more you can control the golf ball from inside 100 yards the better your scores will be.

Live poker tonight at the club, should be good times and I'll have my itouch with me to listen to some tunes. I never play poker and listen to music so it will be interesting to see if hurts or helps my game. I say neither.
