So at lunch I joined a contest and gave it a try. It is a similar format where you have a cap amount to spend on the various positions. You pick 1 goalie, 2 defense, 2 right wingers, 2 left wingers and 2 centers. I sweated the Canucks game last night (I really thought I needed a shutout from Luongo to get the win) and when they lost in an overtime shootout to Edmonton I thought I was toast. When I logged in this morning this is how it turned out:
So even though the Canucks lost, I still managed to win! The point system is great. I originally had Jagr in there instead of Kane but decided to put Kane in because I had the cap room. Obviously the secret is that you don't HAVE to spend the cap... Anyway I'll take the little boost to the bank roll.
Meanwhile, I get OMGItspokerfool to commit his whole stack early on with TT when I limp, he raises on the button, I reraise 3x and then call his re-reraise all in with my KK (the only hand I raised in the 30 minutes or so I was there). The board comes 9-9-Q-8-J. GG me.

RPS it is. But what is this I read about no -EV table games in December? You have not played craps until you have played craps with a drunk Trauma. I like drunk craps at the Hard Rock best because the craps crew is always down to sing with me when I am loading up hard ways for them constantly.
