Instant Tragedy's Top 5

Instant Tragedy has asked me to list my top 5 Americans and top 5 American bloggers, so here we go:

Top 5 Americans:

Tiger Woods (easy one, and a bit of a cop out...). No doubt he is my top 5 though, I talk about him, discuss him and try to emulate him on the golf course at some point each time I tee it up.

Michael Jordan. When it comes to team sports, he is the king of it all. He was the first "leader" I really looked up to as a teenager.

Abraham Lincoln. Say no to slavery.

Elvis Presley. A real American King, if one ever exisited.

Bill Cinton. I am serious. No joke. Bring back peace and economic prosperity already!!!

Getting to meet these 5 American Bloggers last winter opened my eyes about the people who live and breath American culture. It's always a challenge to meet new people for me because a lot of people don't really "get" me when we first meet. However, the reward is worth it when you can make new friends that you know you can count on... even if it's only to get some honest poker insight and feedback.

Nothing better than meeting a new person (in person) and being able to talk to them open and honestly like you've known them forever... and they actually listen and respond with kindness.
